I made this set of illustrations for my brother back in 2013 as a Christmas gift. It's basically just a bunch of random creature designs over some eerie yet simple backgrounds. Emphasis on the "simple".
When the drawings were finished, I realized the site I used to print them into a book would only accept a minimum of 20 pages. So I had to come up with something to fill the extra pages. I went with a rhyme that would kind of create a story out of the imagery. There's not really any plot device, and you could say it's open for interpretation. But quite honestly, it was just a means to fill up some pages, so don't look too deeply for any hidden meaning; it's pretty empty.

This is a series of prints that started when I wanted to illustrate Arnold Schwarzenegger in his many different roles, only using the same body template and simply swapping out the clothes, like a paper doll. It turned out so well that I went ahead and did one featuring another action icon, Sylvester Stallone. From there, it went in a few other directions, which have been a blast to create. I'd like to do more someday.

Hey, a man can't just draw with a pencil and paper all the time! While I will never in a million years claim to be a pixel artist (real pixel artists will destroy me one bit at a time), I do like to play around with the style because it can be a lot of fun. Here are some of my more humble attempts:

For Christmas one year, I decided to do an art project for my brother. Like me, he's an artist, and he's been itching for us to make a Sith Wampa drawing together, and being the awesome brother I am, I did it without him. I'm not sure if that's nice or mean. Either way, I made a movie poster for his media room... it's quite large.
